- graduated in 1996 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Sarajevo

- completed M. Sc. degree in 2001 at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, with "Influence of the IBA concentration (Indole-3- butyric acid) and olive cultivars cuttings preparing time on rhysogenesis"

- work at the Institute´s Department for Fruit farming and Olive growing

- worked on several scientific research projects, the most important is "Food and Beverage Production Potentials of the Croatian Mediterranean"

- participated on expert and scientific meetings in Croatia and abroad

- author or co-author of several scientific and expert works
